ISSAQ Student Success Course

Curriculum

The course is divided into ten modules that intricately connect to ISSAQ's framework, offering class content, discussions, and activities.

 Instructional Use

Designed with instructors in mind, the course includes a lesson outline for each module, slide decks to guide instruction, and additional resources to engage students and deepen instructors’ grasp of noncognitive skills.

We are always asking how we can better support our schools, not just in measuring noncognitive skills, but in actually improving those skills to foster academic success and persistence. While advising, coaching, counseling, and other individual conversations are a great place for that work, we also know that student success courses are a major institutional lever for effecting change in students' behavioral, motivational, emotional, and social attributes.

What is the ISSAQ Student Success Course?

The ISSAQ Student Success Course is a series of resources that can be adapted to support curricular interventions.

We are currently working with our institutional partners to explore best practices in using these resources, either to construct something new, redesign an existing course, or simply to support ongoing efforts. If you'd like more information, please complete the form below and we'd be more than happy to show you what we've built.
