ISSAQ at Rio Salado College
At Rio Salado College, the ISSAQ Student Survey (ISSAQ-SS) is being administered to all incoming students.
ISSAQ seeks to understand your attitudes, strategies, and mindsets toward success in college.
Your responses to this survey will be incredibly helpful to you, other students, and Rio Salado as a whole. Based on your results, your advisor will be able to connect you with resources that can help you learn and succeed at Rio Salado. Moreover, Rio Salado will use aggregate data to understand how students are successful, enhance supports, and improve success for all students.
The survey is relatively short – 80% of students complete it in 15 minutes or less – and has no right or wrong answers. Just answer honestly and to the best of your ability. Additionally, your responses will be kept entirely confidential.

You will then be taken to the survey log-in page. Your log-in is linked to your Rio Salado email address. Follow the instructions below to access the survey.
If you run into an issue signing in using your Rio Salado email you can try one of these two steps:
1) Sign in by entering your 8 digit Student ID and Last Name in the boxes on the sign-in page and clicking "continue"
2) Click on the link below to be taken directly into the survey.
*NOTE* Please take your time when entering your BIQ information (Name, Student ID, email, etc.) at the end of the survey to ensure you can receive your results.

Why should I take ISSAQ?
ISSAQ gives students valuable insights into many factors - some you might not even be aware of - that will impact your success in college.
Moreover, ISSAQ is a critical part of Rio Salado's efforts to support student success. Your results will not only help the college guide you, but also help Rio Salado understand the strengths and challenges students bring to university and how they can best support them.
What can I expect?
The survey is quick - nearly all students complete the survey in less than 20 minutes.
The survey itself consists of statements (e.g., "I show up to almost all my classes"). All you have to do is select how much you agree with each statement.
There are no right or wrong answers. Simply answer honestly and to the best of your ability. When in doubt, your first response is usually the best one.
What about my results?
First, you should know that your results will be handled with security and confidentiality. Only those with a need to work with you will have access to your scores.
Once you complete your survey, you will receive a report via email, typically within 1-2 business days.
Depending on whether your working with advisors, faculty mentors or student success professionals, your results will also be shared with them at that time.
